Job description

Position Summary

Mint Pineapple Boutique is looking for an energetic, dependable, creative, and confident Live Sales Model / Content & Photography Team Member.

This is a multi-responsibility position that goes well beyond modeling clothing.

The person in this role represents the Mint Pineapple Boutique brand both on camera and behind the scenes. Responsibilities include modeling merchandise during live sales, helping present and sell products to customers, modeling for photography and social media content, assisting with content creation, and helping coordinate and oversee product photography needs.

Because customers frequently see this team member representing Mint Pineapple Boutique, professionalism, reliability, product knowledge, personality, and presentation are extremely important.

Live Sales Responsibilities

Live sales are an important part of Mint Pineapple Boutique's business. This position requires someone who is comfortable being on camera and interacting with customers in real time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Model clothing, accessories, jewelry, and other merchandise during live sales.
  • Confidently present products on camera.
  • Clearly explain product features, fit, sizing, material, colors, and styling options.
  • Learn merchandise before going live so products can be presented accurately.
  • Try on and change outfits efficiently during live-sale events.
  • Engage naturally and professionally with customers watching the live.
  • Help create excitement around new arrivals, launches, promotions, and featured products.
  • Work with the live-sale team to maintain the pace and energy of each event.
  • Answer appropriate product and fit questions during live sales.
  • Follow the direction of ownership and the live-sale lead.
  • Maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional on-camera presence.
  • Understand that the goal of a live sale is not simply to model merchandise—it is to help customers understand the products and drive sales.

Modeling Responsibilities

  • Model merchandise for website, social media, advertising, email, and promotional content.
  • Be comfortable being photographed and recorded on video.
  • Follow direction regarding poses, styling, product presentation, and content needs.
  • Accurately represent the fit and appearance of merchandise.
  • Maintain professional presentation while representing the Mint Pineapple Boutique brand.
  • Be available for scheduled product shoots and content creation.
  • Assist with outfit changes and keeping products organized during shoots.

Content Creation Responsibilities

This employee will also participate in creating content for Mint Pineapple Boutique.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Participate in short-form videos, reels, social media posts, promotional videos, and other digital content.
  • Help develop creative ideas for showcasing merchandise.
  • Assist with product styling for photos and videos.
  • Help identify products that need additional photography or content.
  • Work with Jessica and the marketing team to execute planned content.
  • Help create timely content around new arrivals, trends, launches, promotions, and seasonal merchandise.
  • Understand that content should support the overall sales and marketing goals of Mint Pineapple Boutique.

Photography & Photography Oversight

This position will also assist with photography and coordination of product photography.

Responsibilities include:

  • Photograph merchandise when assigned.
  • Assist with model and product photography.
  • Help ensure new merchandise receives the necessary photography before or during launch.
  • Review photos for basic quality, product visibility, presentation, and usability.
  • Help organize merchandise before and after photography.
  • Keep photography areas organized and ready for use.
  • Help coordinate which products have been photographed and which still require content.
  • Work with Jessica to maintain consistency in the visual presentation of Mint Pineapple Boutique.
  • Assist other models or team members during photography sessions when needed.

Product Knowledge

A strong understanding of the merchandise is an important part of this position.

The employee is expected to:

  • Learn new products and key selling features.
  • Understand basic sizing and fit.
  • Become familiar with brands carried by Mint Pineapple Boutique.
  • Know current promotions and important launches.
  • Be able to speak naturally and confidently about products.
  • Ask questions before going live when product information is unclear.

Never knowingly provide customers with inaccurate product information simply to make a sale.

Professional & Brand Expectations

Because this is a highly visible position, the employee represents Mint Pineapple Boutique publicly.

Employees in this role are expected to:

  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude on camera.
  • Arrive prepared and on time for live sales, photography sessions, and scheduled shifts.
  • Be comfortable receiving direction and constructive feedback.
  • Maintain appropriate professional behavior while representing the company.
  • Treat customers and coworkers respectfully.
  • Protect confidential business information.
  • Follow company social media and content guidelines.
  • Understand that content created while working for Mint Pineapple Boutique is being created for business purposes and must meet company standards.

This Is a Team Position

This position is not limited to standing in front of a camera.

When not actively modeling or participating in a live sale, the employee is expected to assist with productive work within the content, photography, marketing, or other assigned areas.

Depending on business needs, this may include:

  • Preparing merchandise for photography.
  • Returning merchandise to its proper location after shoots.
  • Organizing samples and content merchandise.
  • Assisting with steaming or preparing clothing.
  • Helping set up and break down live-sale areas.
  • Assisting with photography equipment and backgrounds.
  • Helping prepare upcoming products and launches.
  • Supporting other reasonable duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Comfortable and confident on camera.
  • Outgoing and able to communicate naturally.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Comfortable modeling clothing and merchandise.
  • Creative and interested in fashion, social media, photography, and e-commerce.
  • Able to take direction and constructive feedback professionally.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Able to work independently when necessary.
  • Willing to learn products and prepare before live sales.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

Previous experience with live selling, modeling, photography, social media, retail, content creation, fashion, or e-commerce is preferred but not necessarily required for the right candidate.

Performance Expectations

Performance in this position will be evaluated based on the entire role—not solely modeling ability.

This may include:

  • Dependability and attendance.
  • Preparation for live sales.
  • Product knowledge.
  • On-camera communication and professionalism.
  • Ability to effectively present and help sell merchandise.
  • Quality and consistency of content.
  • Photography quality and organization.
  • Completion of assigned content and photography responsibilities.
  • Ability to follow direction.
  • Teamwork.
  • Initiative and productivity between live sales and photo shoots.

Accountability

This is an important customer-facing position within Mint Pineapple Boutique.

Failure to prepare for scheduled live sales, repeated attendance issues, unprofessional on-camera behavior, failure to complete assigned content or photography responsibilities, failure to follow management direction, or consistently failing to meet reasonable performance expectations may result in corrective action.

Our Standard

At Mint Pineapple Boutique, this role has one overall purpose:

Make our products look great, communicate why customers will love them, create content that gets their attention, and help turn that attention into sales.

The right person for this position should enjoy being creative and being on camera while also understanding that modeling, content creation, photography, organization, preparation, and sales are all part of the job.

How to Apply – Required Submission

Because this is an on-camera, modeling, and live-selling position, applicants must submit the following with their application:

  • Current photos of yourself so our team can evaluate your fit for our modeling and content needs.
  • A short video introducing yourself and telling us why you believe you would be successful at live selling for Mint Pineapple Boutique.
  • In your video, show us your personality, energy, communication style, and how comfortable you are speaking on camera.

Your video does not need to be professionally produced. We want to see you being yourself on camera and understand what you could bring to our live sales.

Applications for this position will not be considered complete without the requested photos and video submission.
