What is the opportunity?

As Lead End User Computing Engineer, you will be a strategic technical leader and subject matter expert responsible for RBC's enterprise MECM/SCCM infrastructure. You'll lead a team of engineers while designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the global MECM platform that supports 150K+ assets across the organization. In this role, you'll drive key strategic infrastructure projects, ensure compliance with CUSO regulatory requirements, and deliver scalable solutions that enable the enterprise to operate efficiently at scale.

What will you do?

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, performance management, and fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Oversee strategic initiatives including design and build of a secondary dev/test MECM environment, execution of OS upgrades, and implementation of RBC compliance standardization
  • Triage and resolve escalated MECM incidents; serve as subject matter expert for infrastructure troubleshooting, MECM log analysis, and peer team support
  • Maintain global MECM infrastructure health through monitoring, SQL and application maintenance job oversight, and client health support across workstations and servers
  • Engineer and manage thousands of Windows platform configurations to ensure they work seamlessly together while meeting CUSO regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Plan and execute change records for deployments, infrastructure changes, maintenance, and new feature implementations
  • Manage application compliance activities including TSS and TCVM attestation, artifact management, access approvals, and disaster recovery and BCP execution

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 12-15+ years of hands-on SCCM/MECM experience including infrastructure upgrades, configuration management, endpoint protection, health monitoring, and enterprise support
  • Proven experience leading technical teams in enterprise environments with strong communication skills to mentor engineers and align technical solutions with business priorities
  • Experience managing enterprise-scale environments with 10,000+ assets
  • Deep expertise in Windows client platform configurations and ability to engineer solutions where multiple toolsets work together seamlessly
  • SQL and PowerShell programming proficiency to create customized queries, Power BI reports, and extract data from large MECM databases

Nice-to-have

  • Proficient in using ServiceNow for Incident, Change, and Problem Management
  • Experience in banking or another regulated environment

The expected salary range for this particular position is $90,000 - $160,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
