We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our organization. This role is based out of our headquarters (Danielson, CT) and is 100% on site.

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership for our global Application and Design engineering function. This is a senior-level role responsible for shaping engineering processes, standards, and technical direction across the organization. The Engineering Manager plays a critical role in the implementation of technology, structure and process improvements, through an effective, evidence-based change management approach.

  • Effectively manage and deliver corporate engineering services.
  • Ensure an effective disciplined design and project management process from design through to manufacturing.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, marketing and quality personnel for the orderly and profitable transfer of technologies from development to practical application.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A technical degree (preferably a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering)
    • Strong preference for a Master's in Engineering or equivalent Master's in a technical science area.
  • 5-10 years in an appropriate technical management position, leading a team of engineering professionals in a highly regulated market.
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge / experience with IATF / Core Tools associated with APQP.
  • Experience working in quality driven / highly regulated industries (particularly automotive or aerospace, heavy equipment or medical).
