Job description

Job Title: Sr Associate, Quality Engineer (Rochester, NY)

Job Description: 

  • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analyses 

  • Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executed 

  • Determine root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as needed  

  • Write inspection procedures and assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositions  

  • Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans for identified problem areas  

  • Serve as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefings 

Qualifications: 

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master's Degree in  Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, LEAN, and/or simulation tools like Arena, CAD, and/or AutoCAD 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $62,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
