Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Designer to join our growing engineering team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will support mechanical design, development, and testing activities across various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and basic stress/thermal analysis.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and validation.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design reports.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, manufacturing teams, and vendors.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in mechanical design or engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or co-op experience in mechanical design or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and engineering standards.

    All candidates exp must be directly tied to MEP design engineering for building construction documents.
    Must have Revit Experience.
