Job Description
An established engineering consulting organization is adding a Mechanical Engineer to its growing team. This role will focus on the design and development of mechanical building systems for commercial construction projects. The engineer will collaborate with project leadership, clients, and internal design teams to deliver high quality solutions from early planning stages through final construction documentation.

This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while building long term technical and project management expertise within a supportive and team focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical system designs for commercial building applications
  • Create construction drawings and technical documentation utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and related engineering software
  • Coordinate project activities with engineering leadership, project managers, and clients
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule expectations
  • Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle to support successful outcomes
  • Contribute to a collaborative workplace culture while operating with a high degree of individual accountability

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution preferred
  • Minimum of three years of professional engineering experience in mechanical building systems design
  • Equivalent combination of advanced mechanical systems design experience may also be considered
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry related design platforms
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project coordination skills
  • Self motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
