About Us

Safe Air Technology is a rapidly growing manufacturer of mission-critical and explosion-proof HVAC systems. We take pride in building high-quality, precision-engineered equipmentโ€”and weโ€™re looking for individuals who take that same level of pride in their work.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop industrial HVAC systems and mechanical assemblies from concept through production.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Design and develop custom explosion-proof HVAC equipment and field-installed systems
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials using SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Perform mechanical calculations and analysis including airflow, heat transfer, load calculations, and pressure drop
  • Select mechanical components and materials to meet project requirements
  • Lead design for manufacturability and support production during fabrication and assembly
  • Support system testing, validation, and troubleshooting in shop and field environments
  • Prepare submittal packages and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure accuracy and buildability
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3โ€“7+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial mechanical design
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid flow, and heat transfer
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
