Join Cleanslate’s Team as a Territory Account Manager (TAM) for the Michigan territory!
Are you mechanically inclined and passionate about solving problems for customers? This role is primarily focused on service, maintenance, and technical support for an established customer base, with additional responsibility for maximizing existing accounts. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers’ operations running smoothly by maintaining equipment, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring they meet health and safety standards.

After completing comprehensive training, you will take ownership of an established territory and become the go-to resource for customers in the long-term care, restaurant, and hospitality industries.

What You Will Do

Service & Technical Maintenance:

  • Install, service, and maintain warewashing, laundry, and dispensing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with local and federal health guidelines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, performing both routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and training to customers on safe and effective use of equipment and products.
  • Proactively monitor customer sites and equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain accurate service records, manage parts inventory, and ensure systems are functioning reliably to minimize customer downtime.

Account Support & Territory Optimization:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with an existing base of customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand product use and improve customer operations through tailored cleaning and sanitation solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by offering insights and recommendations that align with each customer’s unique needs and goals.

Customer Service & Partnership:

  • Be the face of Cleanslate in your territory, delivering exceptional service and building long-term, solution-oriented relationships.
  • Proactively respond to customer needs - from answering technical questions to providing on-site support and product demonstrations.
  • Track product usage and manage account inventory to ensure customers have what they need, when they need it.

Operational Excellence:

  • Plan and manage your schedule independently to meet customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide emergency support in person or over the phone as needed, including participation in on-call weekend rotations.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights from the field and collaborating with your team.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service, field service, account maintenance, or a related technical service role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces as needed.
  • Must reside within 30 miles of the designated territory.

Salary range: $55,000-65,000 D.O.E.
