Job Description:
Seeking an Ex or Retired USDA (FSIS) Inspector to manage daily operations of a USDA-inspected slaughterhouse. This role ensures USDA compliance, food safety, humane handling, and smooth plant operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead USDA, FSIS, HACCP, and SSOP compliance
  • Act as primary liaison with USDA inspectors
  • Oversee slaughter, processing, sanitation, and humane handling
  • Prevent NRs through proactive compliance
  • Train staff on food safety and USDA requirements
  • Ensure accurate records and inspection readiness
Requirements:
  • Former or Retired USDA FSIS Inspector
  • Strong knowledge of USDA regulations & HACCP
  • Slaughterhouse or meat processing experience
  • Leadership and communication skill.
Preferred:
  • HACCP certified
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
