Job description

We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in the natural gas transportation industry to support our client's projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with contract management, capacity release, shipper/operator activities, nominations, confirmations, measurement, scheduling, allocation, and invoicing within natural gas transportation companies.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure seamless execution of projects related to natural gas transportation.
  • Support contract, capacity release, shipper/operator activities, nominations, confirmations, measurement, scheduling, allocation, and invoicing processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain business process documentation, workflows, and functional specifications.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and user training to ensure successful project delivery.
 
Required Qualifications: 
  • 5-10 experience as a Business Analyst in the natural gas transportation industry in a MUST. 
  • Strong understanding of natural gas contract management, nominations, scheduling, and invoicing processes.
  • Experience working with shippers, operators, and capacity release projects.
  • Ability to analyze and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools, documentation, and reporting.
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience with pipeline operations, transportation management systems, or gas measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with FERC and industry regulations related to natural gas transportation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
