Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Role: MDM Analyst
Experience Required: 8-10 Years
Job Summary
The MDM Analyst is responsible for ensuring the health, accuracy, and availability of Master Data (Customer, Vendor, Product, etc.) across production environments. This role acts as a bridge between data governance and technical support, ensuring data quality, resolving production issues, and maintaining reliable data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
  • Provide Level 3 production support for MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM).
  • Diagnose and resolve production incidents related to master data, data quality, and downstream data syndication.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues such as failed batch jobs, data load errors, and user-reported defects.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions for recurring issues.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to resolve data pipeline failures.
MDM Data Operations & Analysis
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly MDM batch jobs and data synchronization processes.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, duplicates, and data quality issues.
  • Perform data cleansing, matching, merging, and stewardship activities.
  • Investigate and correct data issues related to attributes such as cost, location, and product details.
Change Management & Documentation
  • Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Document data mappings, transformation logic, and system configurations.
Data Governance Collaboration
  • Work with business stakeholders and data stewards to align data management practices with governance policies.
  • Provide training and support to end users on MDM systems and data processes.
Data Integration
  • Develop and maintain real-time and batch integrations between the MDM hub and downstream systems using APIs, REST/SOAP services, or ETL tools.
System Configuration
  • Design and configure MDM components including landing tables, staging tables, base objects, match & merge rules, survivorship rules, and trust configurations.
Data Modeling & Data Quality
  • Design logical data models and implement data quality rules.
  • Perform data profiling and ensure high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
Required Skills
