We are searching for a strategic leader to serve as Director, Global Partner Marketing. This leader will own the worldwide partner marketing and marketplace strategy and execution including partner planning, partner demand generation programs, and partner-related events across all geographies

The role is responsible for determining and deploying global partner marketing coverage, developing joint marketing plans with strategic partners, driving the MDF planning and approval process, and leading both partner-led and AWS-led demand generation programs that generate leads and associated pipeline across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ.
This is a highly visible position that requires building and scaling a high-performing global partner marketing organization. The Director will drive co-marketing plans with priority partners inclusive of account-based marketing plans, scalable partner programs that extend reach across the worldwide channel through Marketplace, Partner Marketing Concierge service and Agency Connect. This leader is responsible for senior stakeholder management including informing and influencing both external partner executives as well as internal AWS executives across our partner, marketing, and sales organizations.
Success in this role requires proven experience building and developing large, complex global teams that execute demand generation activities at scale

This leader must have strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, AI proficiency, an in-depth understanding of the marketing mix, a solid understanding of lead management processes, and experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across geographies to drive the business.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and own the global partner marketing plan including worldwide partner coverage, MDF planning, and partner-led demand generation across all regions
- Deliver against key annual goals including marketing-generated leads, associated pipeline value, and partner customer references globally
- Build, hire, and develop a world-class team of partner marketing professionals that plan and deliver partner demand generation programs
- Work closely with worldwide partner sales leaders and regional sales leaders to develop priorities and execute plans that drive partner marketing-generated opportunities and pipeline
- Lead market analysis, track, monitor, and analyze results across regions, and optimize for ongoing business improvement
- Hire and develop a team of partner marketing professionals and ABM specialists that plan and deliver partner demand generation programs including integrated campaigns, digital marketing and events.
- Partner closely with field marketing to ensure a unified marketing strategy across the Geo - specifically the development of account-based marketing programs and scale strategies with partners
- Drive thought leadership content and executive engagement initiatives that position AWS as the partner of choice for joint go-to-market
- Serve as an executive spokesperson for AWS Partner Marketing at industry events and partner summits.
