Dayton Children's Hospital is currently recruiting for an additional pediatric cardiologist to the group. Candidates must be BC/BE in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including a generous sign-on bonus and relocation package.
Department Specific Job Details:
The practice has been an integral part of the team of hospital subspecialists for well over 40 years and remains primarily an outpatient driven entity. Presently, the group evaluates nearly 9,400 outpatients and performs approximately 5,600 echocardiograms per year at the hospital, at the hospital-based practice and at community-based satellite offices. In addition, inpatient consultation and ongoing daily assessments are completed at Dayton Children's Hospital and echocardiograms and consultations are performed at newborn nurseries (levels 1,2 & 3) at other local hospitals. There is an active adult congenital heart disease program in place
The department is looking for a pediatric cardiologist with training and/or experience with clinical cardiology as well as echocardiography skills: trans-esophageal echos, fetal echos and interpretation of adult echos. Ability to perform pericardiocentsis is preferred.
