Job description

  • Design and execute program translational strategies integrating disease and pathway approaches
  • Design and execute early clinical trials through Proof of Concept, including experimental medicine studies
  • Lead cross-functional trial teams to deliver study milestones and commitments
  • Collaborate with translational science on clinical biomarker and patient segmentation strategies
  • Support experimental medicine studies and business development due diligence
  • Represent Translational Medicine on early development and project teams
  • Present projects at portfolio, project, governance, department, corporate, and scientific meetings
  • Lead or participate in scientific and safety review boards and other cross-functional working groups
  • Identify and collaborate with academic translational sites
  • Prepare or direct protocols, clinical study reports, translational plans, IBs, INDs, abstracts, manuscripts, and technical reports
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate clinical study results
Requirements
  • MD or MD/PhD degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry and/or translational research experience required
  • Demonstrated supervisory and/or leadership experience with clinical and/or research teams required
  • Training in immunology and early clinical development trials strongly preferred
  • Experience with innovative immune cell-based or biologic therapies preferred
  • Strong publication track record preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including trans-Atlantic travel, up to approximately 10%, required
