Our team is made up of researchers, chemists, and pharmaceutical scientists, but we’re also enthusiasts, cannasseurs, and members of the cannabis community. We support the community by providing anyone interested in or passionate about cannabis with access to analytical product testing as well as information to help guide their cultivation, consumption, or enjoyment of marijuana, hemp, and cannabis-derived products.

As the first independent cannabis testing laboratory to be certified by the state of Massachusetts, we are proud to offer analytical testing and R&D services to MMJ and adult-use cannabis providers, patients, doctors, caregivers, or anyone crafting their own cannabis products. Our methods are ISO/IEC-17025:2017 accredited, and we employ proven analytical practices developed in the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Sales Agent to join our expanding sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. You will play a crucial role in representing our brand and promoting our offerings to prospective clients. While an outward facing role, candidate must work with internal departments to ensure alignment of company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management
    • Lean on existing relationships with potential clients.
    • Develop relationships with potential clients through direct outreach, networking, and community involvement
  • Understand cannabis testing protocols, state regulations, analytical testing equipment, advances in the industry, and provide guidance.
  • Work with other internal teams to maintain relationships and help target and acquire new clients
  • Communicate with clients regarding questions and complaints in a timely and proficient manner
  • Work with Business Development and Marketing teams in Massachusetts and Maine
  • Conduct industry research to anticipate potential clients
  • Travel will be required to develop and maintain client base
  • Use Seed to Sale software like BioTrack THC

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis-related products is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade clients effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a track record of exceeding sales targets (2+ years preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
