Warehouse Associate
Maumee, Ohio
$17/hr Paid Weekly
Monday thru Friday
6:45 am - 3:30 pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Pick and pack product for shipment to customers
  2. Set-up and operate machinery efficiently and safely
  3. Organize and move product to appropriate stocking locations.
  4. Perform shipping functions.
  5. Maintain safe and clean work environment.
  6. Perform quality checks as needed to ensure products meet specifications
  7. Timely handling of returned goods and customer issues
  8. Responsible for timely re-stocking of orders and receipts from suppliers.
  9. Interact with computer system to process all basic warehouse transactions.
  10. Print internal and customer labels.
  11. Perform all duties in a safe manner.
  12. Perform other warehouse and office duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily.

Required Education:
  1. High School Education minimum.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of or experience with continuous improvement activities and/or Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  2. Knowledge of or experience with 6S, inventory control systems, Kan Ban systems and ISO/TS16949 a plus.
  3. Working knowledge of quality inspection.
  4. Effectively communicate in both verbal and written format
  5. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  6. Ability to multitask and manage time well.
  7. Reliable, organized, detail oriented and focused.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The characteristics listed below are representative of the physical demands required by an individual to successfully perform the essential duties of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
  1. Job takes place in normal warehouse setting, with no known hazardous environmental or physical working conditions. Job is 95% plus mobile, requiring prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, movement between stations and office, picking, packing and shipping in the warehouse. The job entails requirements for lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and 70 pounds on a limited basis. Normal warehouse interactions require the incumbent to possess the mobility to work with others in the warehouse and office.
  2. Physical and mental ability to use computer
  3. Requires normal dexterity, strength, coordination, vision (including the ability to read a computer screen), and hearing inherent in warehouse work.
  4. Ability to safely operate all office equipment and use computer system to process work.
  5. Ability to organize, communicate and accurately report information to Warehouse Manager, Customer Service, and other departments.
  6. Requires ability to perform arithmetic calculations and to develop analysis and recommendations regarding the same.
  7. The employee is frequently required to talk and/or hear.
  8. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
