Salary: Per Salary Schedule for the 2026-2027 School Year
Minimum Qualifications: Certified by the state of WV as a Classroom Aide
Job Description: Provide assistance and personal care services for students with disabilities, including transportation to/from school, transportation to/from the Mason County Career Center (MCCC), and classroom activities throughout the school day. After transportation to the MCCC the special education aide will support one of two moderate programs at Point Pleasant Jr/Sr High School. While at home school, the special education aide will support the moderate program. Additionally, the special education aide will be responsible for maintaining all appropriate records and other duties assigned by supervisors.
Reports to: Director of Special Education
The Mason County Board of Education will adhere to Count Policy 3120/4120. Applicants can withdraw their application only during the posting period.
