Are you a working Concrete Foreman that never settles for less than superior quality?
Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) is seeking a Traveling Concrete Foreman to join our growing team. You'll have the opportunity to manage the concrete construction and the administrative activities associated with the field operations of a project from day one! Bringing the project to completion on schedule, within budget, and per the project specifications.
Partnered with the ARCO Family of Companies, MCC is a full-service concrete contractor. Our office and field staff provide turnkey concrete foundation, slab on grade, tilt up, and exterior pavement solutions for small renovation projects and 1M square foot + projects. MCC has successfully completed projects for ARCO and general contractors across the country.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Ensure that adequate manpower is provided as required to meet construction schedules
- Analyze and assist general superintendent in determining construction equipment requirements, provide necessary equipment as required to utilize manpower efficiently, and release equipment when not required
- Determine job requirement quantities for each phase of work
- Direct and supervise the activities of carpenters, cement finishers, iron workers and laborers in the performance of their regular duties
- Inform all supervisors promptly of any construction schedule changes
- Review and assist project manager in the approval of all requisitions, and other significant reports and documents
- Report regularly to the project manager to keep them constantly informed on job progress, plans, and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules
- Cooperate with the general contractor and representatives, keeping them informed of construction progress
- Maintain a daily diary to permanently record all significant project facts, events, conditions, visitors, owner representative contacts, commitments, agreements and approvals
- Direct adherence to the company's safety program in all phases and areas of the project
- Become familiar with all company policies and adhere strictly to them in all activities and dealings, and require all employees to be aware of them and conform to them in their activities
- Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
- Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years of experience as a working Concrete Foreman on tilt-up construction projects that are a minimum of 100k sq ft
- Preferred Certifications: Rigging, OSHA 10-hour, aerial lifts, and variable reach
- Willing to travel throughout the United States
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
