About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at On Course Psychological Counseling comprised of clinicians committed to helping clients improve their self-awareness make changes that help them get back on course.  OCPC is searching for a clinician who is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a NYS Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R) or a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.  

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Lead MBSR groups
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in a compassionate manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in social work.
  • Engage in community outreach and education as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current LCSW license to practice in New York State.
  • Early career social workers are considered but experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
