Course:Leadership and Organizations

This course examines modern leadership and organizational dynamics, focusing on how contemporary issues reshape traditional paradigms. Key concepts include servant leadership, ethical decision-making, and global leadership. Through case studies and exercises, students develop strategies for organizational effectiveness. The course emphasizes critical skills for modern leaders, including emotional intelligence, and strategic thinking, in dynamic business environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Preferred: PhD/DBA Management or Doctorate in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years corporate experience. If non-business doctorate Masters in Business Administration (MBA) required.
  • Minimum: Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with 5 years managerial experience. Graduate degree must be from a regionally accredited university or either AACSB accredited program or ACBSP accredited program or international equivalent.
