Summary Statement:

The Sr. Associate Director of Admissions, Master of Business Administration (MBA), reports to the Director of Graduate Admissions and is an integral part of the Mendoza Graduate Enrollment Team. Under the guidance of the Director, the Sr. Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the recruiting and admissions process for the Notre Dame MBA. This position will work in partnership with the Senior Director of Enrollment and Director of Admissions to set the overall admissions strategy for each admissions cycle as the team works towards the program enrollment goals and target cohort profiles set in partnership with Mendoza Academic and College Leadership. 

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead and manage a team of three admissions professionals, driving talent acquisition, retention, and development while implementing effective management practices that foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture. 
  • Partner with the Director of Admissions to develop and execute comprehensive strategies for prospective student communications, virtual events, recruitment, engagement, and yield for the Notre Dame MBA program, ensuring alignment with program goals and successful implementation
  • Actively recruit prospective students through targeted phone and email outreach, on-campus events, and representation of the Notre Dame MBA program at domestic and strategically selected international recruitment events; travel required.
  • Actively participate in the MBA Admissions Decision process including reading and evaluating applications, interviewing candidates, leading and executing admissions and scholarship committees, while managing progress towards enrollment goals, target class profile, and scholarship budget
  • Serve as the primary MBA liaison to cross-functional partners, including the MBA Academic Director and teams across Marketing, Career Services, Experiential Learning, and Student Life, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration 
  • Develop and execute strategies for engaging external travel and recruitment partners, managing relationships to drive best practices in lead generation and candidate engagement 
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience; or advanced certification beyond the Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of progressive professional experience
  • Experience working in higher education or similarly complex institutional environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams in a complex organizational environment
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as require

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrollment management experience
  • Demonstrated success in roles requiring cross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagement
Additional Information

Compensation: Starting at $85,000, commensurate with experience
