POSITION SUMMARY:TheMBA Internship Programis a dynamic, 10-week paid internship designed to provide first-year MBA students with hands-on experience in field operations and strategic project work. Interns are placed at locations across the country and are supported by a dedicated program manager and mentor throughout the experience. This program offers direct exposure to executive leadership and provides opportunities to contribute to high-impact initiatives that drive business performance.

High-performing interns are considered for full-time roles, including our prestigious General Manager Accelerated Program (GMAP).

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in structured rotations across functional areas such as Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration.

  • Execute project deliverables identified by functional leaders and present findings to key stakeholders.

  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.

  • Develop professional documents and communications related to project outcomes.

  • Engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers and operational challenges.

  • Learn how to influence financial outcomes and contribute to strategic decision-making.

  • Adhere to the formal training curriculum and complete all assigned tasks within the internship timeframe.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated interest in operations, leadership, and business strategy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in the first year of an accredited MBA program.

  • Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-week internship beginning in June.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $70,304.00 to $80,200.00* which reflects theminimumwagein multiple jurisdictions. The actual range will depend on the locality in which you are hired.

Sustainability Innovation

The Republic Services Polymer Center is the nation's first integrated plastics recycling facility. These innovative sites process rigid plastics from our recycling centers, producing recycled materials that promote true bottle-to-bottle circularity. We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging. We are building a network of Polymer Centers and Blue Polymer facilities across North America.


Our customers are increasingly looking for decarbonization solutions, and we are leveraging our network of landfills to meet that need. Republic is committed to harnessing landfill gas, a natural byproduct of decomposing waste, and converting it to energy. Republic has partnered with renewable gas developers to construct Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) plants at our landfills, expanding beyond the 77 projects we currently have to make progress towards our goal to beneficially reuse 50% more biogas by 2030 (2017 baseline year).
