Job Description
The Specialist, Retail Marketing, will be primarily responsible for supporting Marketing's integration with Retail Operations, Field Operations, and our Dealer Network; inclusive, but not limited to written communications, presentations, and analysis of current programs and projects.
This role will work closely with the team enabling our Retail Marketing Platform - aiding in the growth and performance of our mid-funnel and lower funnel marketing efforts.
As a member of the overall Shopper Marketing team, this individual will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with our Digital Engagement team to understand the overall Shopping Journey, as it relates to Mazda and the Automotive industry at large - with exposure to our website properties, user experience, and creative asset production.
Retail Marketing Program - 50%
  • Evaluate program(s) functionality and performance on an ongoing basis, and provide proactive recommendations for enhancements
  • Aid in the development of training materials to support region and field team execution of marketing programs.
  • Support Demand Generation efforts by collaborating with the relevant agency to ensure accurate offers, compelling creative assets, timely market execution, and comprehensive performance reporting.
  • Support Demand Capture efforts by collaborating with preferred providers, communicating incentives, addressing carline launch requirements, and performance reporting.
  • Develop clear and effective communications to support program changes, improvements, and performance insights for key audiences.

Shopping Analytics - 25%
  • Monitor KPIs to identify needs and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compile and deliver weekly and monthly reporting insights on the Shopping journey to operational and executive teams.
  • Collaborate with both Marketing & Data Science teams to develop necessary reporting analytics.

Field & Dealer Communications - 15%
  • Gather and organize content to support regional marketing teams in their monthly and quarterly planning.
  • Assist in coordinating and publishing Dealer notifications, video communications, and newsletters.
  • Assist in content development for National Dealer Advisory Council (NDAC) meetings.

Department Support - 10%
  • Provide support across the Retail Marketing Team, as it relates to needs around assets, sales events, Mazda's Co-op & Advertising Program, and Retail Marketing Dealer Platform.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:
Education (Minimum):
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience, required.
Experience:
  • 2+ years of automotive or marketing related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of current automotive landscape, trends, and innovations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentation building skills, with an ability to collaborate.
  • Strong command of Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • An ability to organize, reorganize, and make suggestions for project execution to maximize efficiency.

Travel
May be required 1-4 times per year

$69,400.00 - $100,600.00
