Position Summary

Chartis Federal is seeking an Asset & Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee warehouse logistics, inventory accountability, and lifecycle management supporting tactical communications equipment and infrastructure assets for the customer.


This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control, supporting shipping and receiving operations, coordinating equipment staging and deployment logistics, and ensuring operational readiness in support of mission-critical communications sustainment activities.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations supporting communications equipment and infrastructure assets
  • Manage receiving, inspection, inventory entry, storage, shipping, and distribution activities
  • Maintain inventory accountability and asset tracking within MAXIMO or comparable inventory management systems
  • Conduct recurring inventory reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and support audit readiness activities
  • Manage asset lifecycle tracking, equipment movement documentation, and inventory control processes
  • Coordinate equipment staging, refresh, deployment preparation, and surge logistics support
  • Serve as the escalation point for warehouse logistics, inventory discrepancies, and operational support issues
  • Coordinate logistics priorities and warehouse operational support activities
  • Ensure accurate shipping documentation, inventory records, and material movement tracking
  • Maintain warehouse organization, operational readiness, and compliance with applicable safety procedures
  • Support ad hoc logistics and mission support requirements as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant operational experience may be substituted
  • 5+ years of warehouse operations, logistics management, asset management, or inventory control experience
  • Experience using MAXIMO or comparable inventory / asset management systems
  • Strong experience with inventory reconciliation, asset tracking, and logistics coordination
  • Experience supporting warehouse or logistics operations in structured operational environments
  • Strong organizational, operational management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to meet CBP background investigation requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal logistics, supply chain, or asset management experience
  • DHS, CBP, or other federal operational environment experience
  • Experience supporting communications, telecommunications, or technical equipment logistics
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Based onsite in Orlando, FL
  • Warehouse and operational logistics environment
  • May require operation of warehouse equipment and material handling tools
  • Must comply with workplace and industrial safety requirements investigation
