The Role: Director of Finance

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Finance to lead all financial operations. This role is responsible for cash flow management, financial reporting, budgeting, and owner relations. The ideal candidate will have strong hotel finance experience, proficiency in Hilton systems and M3, and the ability to partner effectively with ownership and operational leadership to drive performance across the property.

What You’ll Do: Cash Flow Management
  • Monitor daily cash flow and ensure funds are available for payroll, vendor payments, and daily operations
  • Forecast short- and long-term cash needs
  • Perform daily reconciliations, manage wire transfers, and ensure accurate cash deposits across departments
  • Lead all accounting processes including AP, AR, GL, and financial close
  • Manage monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting in compliance with Hilton and ownership standards
  • Track capital expenditures and ensure CapEx projects align with approved plans
  • Oversee financial reporting across departments including Rooms, F&B, Retail, and Events
Owner Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary liaison with ownership and lender representatives
  • Deliver monthly financial packages, explain variances, and offer strategic insights
  • Build trust and transparency with owners through regular communication and performance updates
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Maintain a strong control environment in line with GAAP and internal policies
  • Collaborate with auditors and ensure compliance with all regulatory and brand standards
  • Manage risk through policies, training, and systems oversight
Strategic Business Partnership
  • Partner with Operations and department leaders to drive total top-line revenue and margin improvement
  • Provide data-driven financial support to Sales, Operations, and F&B teams
  • Assist with strategic planning initiatives that align with financial goals
Who You Are:
  • A proactive finance leader with a hands-on approach and strong hotel operations knowledge
  • Analytical and precise with a passion for clean financials and smart cash management
  • A collaborator who thrives on building relationships with ownership, corporate teams, and hotel staff
  • Tech-savvy with a deep understanding of hospitality finance systems
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel finance leadership, preferably in a Hilton-branded or multi-outlet property
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience working with ownership groups and managing complex financial packages
