Job description

Description BlueForce Inc. is seeking a Lead Blue Facilitator/Data Analyst in support of HQ USAF Sponsored or Supported Wargaming. The Lead Blue Facilitator/Data Analyst will conduct activities to plan, execute, manage, and analyze throughout all phases of HQ USAF wargames including concept development, objective analysis, assessment planning, game design, event planning, management and execution, and post-game analysis. Primary locations are Joint Base Andrews, MD, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and The Pentagon. Duties and Responsibilities: * Primary point of contact for Blue (in-game Coalition) and Green (other allies/partners/host nation(s)) planning team(s). * Organizes and oversees Blue and Green facilitation team in support of game lead. * Creates, maintains, updates applicable documents and templates. * Facilitates wargame participation to achieve game objectives. * Conducts open source and classified research and analysis related to Air Force strategy and concept development, strategy implementation, and participation in defense strategy review. * Contributes to development and execution of wargame design, objective, and analysis plans. * Assists in data management and coordination of Blue and Green force structures and orders of battle, and their accurate representation in the appropriate game systems. * Drafts wargame products to support Joint Planning. * Contribute domain or functional subject matter expertise to wargame planners and staff. * Contributes to data collection during wargame events. * Conducts post-game analysis and provides input to wargame reports. * Supports development and dissemination of post-game outcomes for senior leaders and stakeholders. * Participates in non-AF Wargaming wargames if directed. * Assists in accomplishing staff taskings/actions as directed. Essential Functions: * Serve as the Capability Lead Mobility Air Forces, Agile Combat Support. * Assist the Senior Data Analyst with Modeling and Simulation Database Administration. * Provide tailored campaign modeling support to wargame efforts. * Assist pre-game, concurrent, and/or post-game analysis in accordance with wargame design and analysis plan. * Participate in mission-partner wargames and workshops as required to provide subject matter expertise and stay apprised of activities in the military wargaming community. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: * Graduate degree. * A minimum of 14 years in an Air Force operational unit (squadron or group level) with at least 2 years above the Wing level (i.e. CCMD, MAJCOM, AOC, etc.). * In addition, 2 years of experience in wargaming, concept development, operational planning, and/or strategic assessments. * Documented experience in and working knowledge of the Joint Planning process is required. * Documented experience in leading mission planning cells is required. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Top-secret with SCI eligibility. Preferred Qualifications: * Advanced Study Group or Weapons School graduate is highly desired.
