We are seeking a skilled in-house carpenter to join our award-winning basement remodeling company in Plymouth MI. As an in-house carpenter, you will be responsible for crafting custom pieces, completing home renovation projects, and ensuring all work is of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design team to bring their vision to life, including custom pieces such as cabinetry, shelving, and furniture
  • Construct and install framing, drywall, trim, and finishes
  • Work with our project management team to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Maintain and repair existing structures and fixtures as needed
  • Keep an organized and clean work area, including tools and equipment
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients throughout the project
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a carpenter, preferably in a residential setting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
