Job Title
Embedded Software Engineer - MATLAB & Embedded C
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to meet business and customer needs. The role involves participating throughout the software development lifecycle, including software architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, use cases, and technical challenges.
  • Design and implement software solutions using appropriate tools, programming languages, frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
  • Evaluate application requirements and determine suitable technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
  • Create high-level software architecture and system designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects.
  • Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, and processes.
  • Improve application performance and development efficiency through continuous optimization.
  • Apply software engineering best practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Support software security practices, including data protection through encryption and anonymization.
  • Develop user-friendly and interactive software interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain back-end components, APIs, and microservices.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance software solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 6+ years of IT experience.
  • 4+ years of software development experience.
  • Practical experience in two programming languages or advanced proficiency in one programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded C development.
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB development.
  • Experience with software testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Experience with MATLAB modeling.
  • Experience with embedded software development.
  • Knowledge of hardware testing and low-level debugging.
  • Experience with Embedded C, MATLAB, integration testing, and low-level code debugging.
  • Experience with LIN, CAN, Diagnostics, NVM, and HIL testing.
  • Experience with requirements management and algorithm design from requirements.
  • Hardware experience is preferred.
  • Work Status: Hybrid (4 days per week).
