Job Summary

Candidates will support the validation and characterization of RFICs in pSemi’s UltraCMOS technology for commercial and industrial applications. Product lines include high performance RF switches, Amplifiers, Mixers, LNA’s, VCOs, PLLs etc. and preferably with EE major in Senior year at College or currently enrolled in Master Program.

Roles & Responsibilities

This position has responsibility for:

  • Product characterization: define, measure, analyze and document product performance data.
  • Possible production ATE support: work with test engineers to define, develop and ramp production ATE solutions.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

  • Hands on experience of RF measurement equipment to validate performance of CMOS RF ICs, such as NF, phase noise, IP3, IP2, matching using smith charts, time domain measurements etc.
  • Solid understanding of basic Digital, Analog and RF circuit theory
  • Knowledgeable on Generic Building Blocks of Wireless System and RF IC Transceiver will be big plus
  • Proficiency with general lab equipment such as: DC power supplies, o-scopes, multi-meters, VNA, Signal Generator, Functional Generator, Spectrum Analyzers etc.
  • Good software or scripting like Python, MATLAB programming skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strength in documentation clarity and completeness.
  • Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule.
  • Willingness to go beyond what’s required.

Education Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field (must be completing 3+ years).

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

USD 25.63 - 48.60 per hour
