Software Developer
Chantilly, VA

ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated Software Developers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research, design, development and test of software applications for a variety of systems
  • Understand customer/operational requirements and implement new functionality into software products
  • Develop tests, including unit, integration, and e2e tests to validate critical aspects of the system
  • Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner
  • Occasional travel will be required for this position in support of team integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Active DoD TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance, with CI Poly
    • US Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and of associated tools
  • Proficient in Python, Go, Java, or other modern programming languages
  • Knowledge of common data visualization technologies and libraries, such as matplotlib, bokeh, d3, or Matlab
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies and exit “comfort zone”

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience (or a mix of experience and advanced degree)
  • Experience with distributed software version control systems and continuous integration, such as GIT pipelines and Jenkins
  • Experience with containers and/or container orchestration software such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc
  • Experience implementing and integrating security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, integrity, and non-repudiation) into applications
  • Familiarity with RF systems and capabilities
  • Experience with modern Big Data management software stacks (ELK, Spark, etc.)
Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000 per year
