Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a CLEARED Systems Engineer to join a growing aerospace and telecommunication company. This is onsite in Lanham, MD and a full-time position. Essential Duties of the Systems Engineer: * Support the development and maintenance of system-level technical budgets, including power, data, performance, and other engineering metrics.
* Define, analyze, document, and maintain system and subsystem requirements with full traceability.
* Support requirements allocation, verification planning, and validation activities throughout the program lifecycle.
Qualifications of the Systems Engineer: * 5+ years of systems engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or space. * Requirements management and systems engineering tools (Jama, DOORS, etc).
* Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and system modeling tools.
* Engineering analysis and simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, STK, etc).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
Compensation for the Systems Engineer: * $120,000 - $200,000 (based on experience)
