Responsibilities As an Aerospace Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following: * Perform aerospace engineering in support of flight control system development; aircraft modeling and simulation; analysis of aircraft flight dynamics; and ground and flight test support.
* Support the design, development, integration, and test of aircraft flight control systems and autopilots.
* Develop, integrate, and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems such as payloads, engines, transmissions, flight control components, and sensors.
* Support lab, ground, and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics, sensors, and flight control systems. Qualifications * Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance after hiring. U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance * Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
* 1-2 years' professional experience related to Aerospace Engineering.
* Experience with MATLAB and MATLAB scripting.
* Excellent documentation and report writing skills.
