Job description
Attention:
The College of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at Rock County is seeking one or more adjunct Mathematics instructors to teach courses in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Candidates available to teach 50% FTE or more may be considered for a salaried Lecturer title instead. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
This will be a fixed-term appointment. Reappointment for subsequent terms is dependent upon the needs of the University, funding, staffing requirements, enrollment, and external forces. For information on fixed-term contracts, please see UW System Admin Policy 1250: Job Security.
Courses that are to be taught throughout the academic year will be from the following:
1. MAT 091 and MAT 095 - Elementary Algebra
2. MAT 103 - Beginning and Intermediate Algebra
3. MAT 108 - Quantitative Reasoning
4. MAT 110 - College Algebra
5. MAT 113 - Trigonometry
6. MAT 210 - Topics in Finite Mathematics
7. MAT 221 - Calculus and Analytic Geometry I

Compensation:
Well-qualified candidates can expect pay of $1,667 per credit, with 15 credits being 1.0 Full-Time Equivalency.If a candidate is hired for more than a 50% FTE position, it will become salaried.This will be commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.
