Math Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year

Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Licensed Intervention Specialists

We are currently seeking Math Teachers in our elementary join our team for the 2026–2027 School Year. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about student growth and skilled in delivering engaging, standards-aligned math instruction in a supportive classroom environment.

Job Summary

The Math Teacher provides high-quality math instruction to students in a classroom setting, ensuring lesson plans align with Ohio Department of Education content standards. This role is responsible for developing engaging and differentiated math lessons, monitoring student progress using data, and adjusting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The Math Teacher collaborates closely with parents, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams to support academic success while maintaining state and program compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required: Education, Mathematics, or Special Education preferred
  • Valid Ohio teaching license required, Intervention Specialist or Math specific licensure preferred
  • Experience working with students with behavioral and/or mental health challenges preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities- Classroom Instruction & Lesson Planning
  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Ohio Department of Education math standards
  • Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs
  • Maintain student work portfolios in alignment with program expectations
- Assessment & Progress Monitoring
  • Monitor student academic progress and adjust instruction using assessment data
  • Administer classroom assessments, quizzes, and math-related evaluations
  • Complete grades and progress reports in accordance with reporting timelines
- Documentation & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Complete required documentation, including lesson plans and student records
  • Maintain accurate educational records and ensure compliance with state standards
  • Participate in required testing and assessment administration
- Collaboration & Communication
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
  • Collaborate with internal staff and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in student meetings, staff meetings, and daily debriefings
  • Share best practices and instructional strategies with colleagues
- Student Support & Professional Conduct
  • Promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and positive classroom behaviors
  • Encourage age-appropriate social skills and academic independence
  • Serve as a positive role model for students at all times

  • Ensure instruction and lesson plans meet Ohio Department of Education standards
  • Use data to guide instructional decisions
  • Participate in curriculum adjustments to maximize student achievement

Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
  • 10-month school schedule, paid across 12 months (June & July off)
  • Licensed Intervention Specialist/ Highly Qualified Teacher at Bachelor level starting at $46,500 and goes up depending on years of experience
  • Licensed Intervention Specialist/ High Qualified Teacher at Master level starting at $50,650 and goes up depending on years of experience
