Started in 1991, Brainspring is dedicated to reshaping the landscape of reading intervention through one-on-one tutoring and professional development. Our innovative courses are crafted to equip educators with a structured, multisensory tools and techniques necessary to effectively address reading challenges. Brainspring Tutoring services support struggling readers and students seeking enrichment in any academic subject. With a commitment to research-based practices and ongoing support, we strive to create a community of educators and tutors who are skilled, confident, and passionate about making a difference in their students' lives.

DESCRIPTION

Brainspring Learning Centers (brainspring.com), the leaders in Multisensory Education, are looking for motivated, dedicated, enthusiastic people who are passionate about making a difference, to tutor students of all ages and abilities, specifically in the areas of:

Secondary Math

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or in the process of completing a degree (High School Math Education preferred); If degree obtained or expected is not specifically in Secondary Math Education, and the applicant is interested in working with students in Pre-Algebra or above, the applicant will have to complete a math competency exam.

Available to tutor weeknights and/or Saturdays.

If interested in tutoring elementary math, the applicant must attend a three-hour Brainspring workshop.

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME

Independent Contractor

This is an in-person/on-site position (no remote math tutoring positions available)

All candidates are subject to a background check

COMPENSATION

$25-$29 per hour based on education, experience, and level of math proficiency
