We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing Production team. The person in this position will play a pivotal role in supporting BETA's growing analytical needs by creating tools to extract meaningful insights from manufacturing data, transforming data to create derived, structured datasets, and presenting reports that are informative, understandable, and professional. The ideal candidate enjoys diving into technical domains, can articulately convey findings and insights, and has a passion for data-driven solutions.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
  • Extract and validate data from various sources
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns
  • Visualize data effectively to tell a story
  • Build data dashboards that enable stakeholders to self-serve
  • Collaborate with cross-functional production teams to address business problems with data-driven solutions
  • Dive into various production areas to understand how data is generated and therefore how it is properly interpreted
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data concepts into understandable insights and recommendations
  • Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics)
  • 2+ years' experience in a Data Analysis role
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and mathematical principles relevant to data analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and aggregation
  • Experience with data visualization and exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly, Grafana)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Aptitude for data storytelling
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex results to various stakeholders
  • A strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Above and Beyond Qualifications:
  • Experience with tools for database extract, transform, and load (e.g., dbt)
  • Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, dplyr)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience collaborating with data engineering teams using shared data platform architecture

The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. Compensation
$75,000-$95,000 USD
