DESCRIPTION:
Seeking highly qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track teaching position in a 12:1+1 special class. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of early childhood
development, individualized instruction, behavioral interventions, and progress monitoring and possess strong case management, classroom management, and organization skills.
SALARY:
Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract
QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education (Elementary, 1-6, or K-12 is required.) Applicants must pose a strong interest in working as a special educator
in an integrated or special class setting.
Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum, Speech/Language Impairment, Other Health impairments, specialized reading instruction, behavioral intervention plans,
and specially designed instruction in ELA, Math, and SEL is highly preferred.
