About the role

The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating both manual and CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. Ensures accuracy through inspections and adherence to specifications while meeting production timelines. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support overall manufacturing operations and maintain efficient shop performance

What youll do

  • Ability to set up all shop equipment including the Manual Milling, Lathe and Handscrew machines.
  • Will set up and maintain operation of CNC Millers and Lathes, including tool offsets and editing of CNC programs.
  • Responsible for part quality, dimensional inspections and meeting time standards.

What we are looking for in you

  • Read and write English and follow written/verbal instructions
  • Perform basic math
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Proficient with all shop measuring tools, and is able to read and understand part drawing.

  • High School or Technical School graduate.

  • 1015 years Machine Shop experience.

  • Setting up and operate all manual and automated equipment within the Machine Shop.

Work Location: on-site in our Waltham facility 5 days/week

Targeted Salary Range: $30 - $35/hour

Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
