The Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) will be responsible for managing the global communication and implementation of all Digital Media campaigns for Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, Spartan Trail and Spartan DEKA. Objectives include, but are not limited to, driving race registrations, enhancing brand awareness, acquiring new leads, all within strong company standards and KPIs. The DMM is instrumental in driving the brand forward within the digital space 


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive paid media strategies to increase visibility, recognition, drive new user acquisition and increase customer retention. 
  • Your day-to-day is in platforms like these: Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, Google Analytics
  • Manage a team of Digital acquisition specialists from our partner agency SURGE Global. Conduct weekly status and performance review calls with the agency and ensure the timely completion of projects
  • Lead content briefing through ASANA to the Spartan Design and Video teams to generate assets to support ongoing monthly comms and local acquisition
  • Present opportunities and performance trends weekly to Sr Leadership
  • Review and approve creative assets, as well as be responsible for campaign QA and launch accuracy
  • Check daily reports and provide troubleshooting support for issues relating to campaign spend, creative, tagging or partner implementation, and escalation to third-party vendors when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members by providing guidance on how to continually improve operational processes, supporting systems, and communication channels where needed
  • Steward monthly invoice reconciliation and update budget pacing daily


Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years of Paid Media experience managing operational processes in online advertising industry for a publisher, advertiser or agency; having both sell and buy-side experience with budgets exceeding $5mm annually is a plus
  • A comprehensive understanding of the digital ad auction, general advertising ecosystem, best practices, bid and optimization strategies, and campaign objectives
  • Proficient with Google/MS Office Suite and deep working knowledge of Facebook Ad Managers, Google Ads and programmatic advertising platforms such as Media Math or GDN
  • Experience with trafficking and QAing ads from a large number of campaigns
  • Strong aptitude for identifying problems, troubleshooting issues and problem solving
  • Ability to work in self-directed, results-oriented work environments and multitask in a fast-paced environment with strong written/verbal communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management solutions
  • Creation/editing of assets using CANVA
  • AI Asset creation is a plus
