Maternity leave replacement

Purpose

This position is responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis functions within the organization. This role involves developing financial plans, conducting financial analyses, and providing insights to support decision-making. The Analyst will work closely with the financial planning and analysis team to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial plans and budgets.
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial data to team members and management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Creer, maintenir et rediger des rapports financiers hebdomadaires et mensuels

  • Developper, mettre en uvre et surveiller les outils d'exploitation

  • Analyser les ventes, les profits et les autres sources de revenus pour determiner les opportunites et emettre des recommandations

  • Fournir une analyse des depenses d'exploitation par rapport au budget et emettre des commentaires aux parties prenantes

  • Aider le plan d'exploitation annuel de la region et le processus de prevision mensuel

  • Aider la direction dans la preparation de presentations sur les resultats au centre de soutien du Canada

  • Aider l'equipe de rapports financiers dans son processus de fermeture mensuelle au besoin

  • Aider plusieurs fonctions dans tous les departements avec les initiatives locales et nationales

  • Travailler avec un faible impact environnemental et comprendre l'importance de signaler tous les dangers, incidents et deversements dans l'environnement immediatement a son superviseur

  • Comprendre qu'il ou elle joue un role essentiel pour sa propre securite et celle de ses collegues et etre pret a signaler les dangers

Qualifications/competences/exigences :

  • Au moins 3 a 5 ans d'experience professionnelle dans un poste de finance ou d'analyse

  • Baccalaureat en comptabilite, finance, analyse de donnees ou un domaine connexe

  • Une certification de comptable professionnel est preferable.

  • Maitrise des rapports financiers et du grand livre general (GL) ou tout autre systeme de rapport financier similaire

  • Connaissances de toutes les composantes des etats financiers de base (resultats, bilan)

  • Grande competence avec Microsoft Office incluant Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Experience avec Cognos, Tableau ou autre outil de rapport similaire

  • Capacites analytiques et mathematiques exceptionnelles

  • Une connaissance de SQL et des principes relationnels des bases de donnees est un atout
