As a mental health counselor in our outpatient office, you will connect with clients through teletherapy, utilizing modern digital platforms that prioritize security and ease of use.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs through structured interviews and psychological evaluations, tailoring inquiries to identify specific postpartum issues.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that resonate with client goals, ensuring they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART).
• Provide a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques.
• Continuously evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans based on client feedback and therapeutic outcomes, ensuring clients receive the most effective care possible.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client sessions, ensuring updates align with ethical and legal standards.
• Work collaboratively with a network of other mental health professionals, facilitating referrals and consultations to address comprehensive care for clients.
• Adhere to and promote professional ethics and legal standards in all aspects of your work, creating a safe environment for clients.

This position primarily focuses on supporting individuals experiencing postpartum mental health challenges, ranging from mild anxiety and depression to more severe conditions such as postpartum psychosis. You will work with a diverse demographic that includes new mothers and families navigating the complexities of parenthood. Our clients often seek help for issues like adjusting to motherhood, managing stress, navigating relationship dynamics, and developing coping strategies, providing you with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is mandatory.
• Current licensure in Colorado as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct therapy experience is necessary for this role.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to connect with clients on an emotional level are essential for success.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods related to maternal mental health is highly valued.

• Experience specifically working with maternal mental health issues is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and engage with community resources effectively.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education level.
