Material Logistics Associate

Full Time

Location: Tipp City, Ohio

Job Details: starting at $20.00/hour, full time, 1st shift

Job Descriptions

Primary Responsibility:

Perform various functions of shipping. The role supports receiving, receiving inspection, stockroom and purchasing. Each coordinator may have a primary function but will be cross-trained and expected to fill any position during peak demand.

Primary Duties:
  • Pack and ship product per internal planning and industry specifications
  • Drive forklift
  • Support subcontract orders (plating, coils, paint, etc.)
  • Maintain Finished Goods Inventory
  • Maintain shipping supplies inventory
  • Secondary Duties:
  • Receive material from suppliers
  • Data Entry
  • Filing
  • Expedite materials with suppliers
  • Support local pickup and delivery using company vehicle
  • Support all assigned stockroom activities
  • Support all assigned receiving inspection activities
  • Perform cycle counting in support of inventory accuracy
  • Participate in stockroom, receiving and shipping improvement activities
  • Metrics:
  • Shipping defects

  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in stockroom, shipping and receiving environment (preferred)

  • Strong ability to read and write numbers with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and react quickly to change
  • Willing to work overtime when required
  • Ability to follow written procedures
  • Ability to read product drawings
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Will require heavy lifting and the use of metal banders
  • Will require lengthy periods of standing
  • Valid driver's license required
