CA&M is now accepting resumes for in preparation for an upcoming requirement at the National Institutes of Health.
We are currently accepting resumes for the Chemical Hygienist.
Education
Bachelor's degree from accredited academic institution.
Specialized Experience
• At least 5 years of practice as a chemical hygienist or industrial hygienist.
• Performing surveys and inspections to identify safety and health hazards and assessing compliance with regulations.
• Preparing written reports to document survey findings.
• Maintaining chemical inventories.
• Managing and responding to laboratory hazardous material incidents and spills.
• Conducting general industrial hygiene monitoring and occupational health services.
• Supporting laboratory hazardous waste program and program inspections.
• Assisting with accident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Participating as a member of the safety committee.
Certifications
Credentialed as a certified safety professional (CSP) or other related certification (e.g., CIH, or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM))
