Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑driven Production Material Coordinator to ensure materials flow accurately and on time to our production lines. The role is responsible for material availability, inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and continuous improvement of material flow processes.

Shift: Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), with overtime as required

Location: Raycap Leeds Avenue Facility

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory, Material Flow & Quality Control

  • Ensure continuous material availability for production operations.
  • Coordinate timely issuance and replenishment of materials required for production operations.
  • Receive, stage, and organize materials aligned with production schedules.
  • Perform corrective actions for material shortages and communicate material priorities to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Align daily with planning, procurement, warehouse, and production supervisors

ERP / SAP System Maintenance

  • Execute all goods movements (receipts, issues, transfers) in SAP.
  • Maintain clean, accurate, real‑time system inventory.
  • Support order closing through correction of virtual stock.

Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis

  • Investigate mismatches, mislabels, BOM issues, or incorrect postings.
  • Perform material-to-administrative reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions with cross functional teams.
  • Track recurring issues and conduct root cause analysis to improve material flow quality and efficiency.
  • Identify improvements in kitting, staging, labeling, ERP data accuracy, and flow efficiency.
  • Support 5S and waste‑reduction initiatives.
  • Update work instructions and standard processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related fields or 2 or more years of experience in material coordination, inventory control, or production support
  • SAP/ERP and Excel experience.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in telecommunications or industrial solutions manufacturing
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related fields would
  • Advanced SAP ECC/S4 HANA experience
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement methodologies

Physical Demands:
