Position Summary:
This position is responsible for understanding and overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, inventory control, cycle counting, material handling, storage, shipping. This position ensures compliance with quality standards, inventory accuracy, traceability requirements, and operational efficiency while supporting production and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
  • Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and material movement.
  • Ensure all incoming materials, components, and products are properly received, inspected, counted, and entered into the ERP system.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety requirements.
  • Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
  • Ensure proper identification, labeling, traceability, and storage of materials.

Receiving and Inspection
  • Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, Certificates of Conformance (COC), and Certificates of Analysis (COA) as applicable.
  • Perform incoming inspections for quantity, visual condition, packaging integrity, labeling, and documentation compliance.
  • Verify part numbers, revisions, lot numbers, quantities, supplier information, and product traceability requirements.
  • Identify, segregate, and report nonconforming materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all receiving inspections are properly documented and recorded.

Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP Business One (SAP B1).
  • Conduct routine cycle counts
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are processed accurately and timely within SAP B1.

Quality and Compliance
  • Support quality management system requirements and company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with inspection, traceability, and material control processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for receiving, inventory, and warehouse activities.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.
  • Ensure all materials meet customer and company quality requirements before release to production.
  • Meet performance expectations
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Customer Service departments.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts and possession of forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1) inventory and warehouse transactions.
  • Experience performing cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and physical inventories.
  • Knowledge of receiving inspection processes and quality documentation requirements.
  • Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, material certifications, and inventory reports.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Knowledge of material traceability, lot control, and nonconformance processes, preferred.
  • Experience in plastics, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial environments, preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory controls, and warehouse management, best practices, preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Work Environment / Schedule: (as applicable):
Office-based role in a first-class, professional environment. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility as required for peak periods.
