Job description

SUMMARY
Tends processing machines such as steel pickling, galvanizing, and slitting machines that clean, coat and cut steel by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Follows all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Management System, and various other sources as they relate to the job function.
Assembles specified number of parts or finished product as per work orders.
Stacks, wraps, labels, and identifies items for shipment.
May build specific packaging for shipments using wood, metal banding, plastic, or other wrapping materials.
Stamps, types, or writes addresses on packaged materials.
Requisitions and stores materials to maintain stock.
Unloads scrap hoppers and consolidates stock.
