Material Handler

$20.85/hour

1st Shift

5:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday, Some mandatory Saturdays

Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Retrieve merchandise, raw materials, and production supplies from warehouse bins, racks, shelves, and staging areas
  • Perform daily material handling operations to support manufacturing and production schedules
  • Load, unload, transport, and stage materials, products, and containers within the facility, warehouse, yard, or production areas
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move inventory and production materials
  • Read and interpret work orders, pick lists, production schedules, shipping documents, and verbal instructions to determine material movement requirements
  • Verify, identify, label, and attach tracking tags to containers, pallets, and inventory items
  • Accurately document materials handled, moved, received, or issued using production sheets, work tickets, inventory systems, or warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by following established material control and tracking procedures
  • Support shipping, receiving, production, and warehouse teams to ensure operational efficiency
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Material Handler Requirements:

Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, Production Associate, Forklift Operator, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, or similar manufacturing/distribution role

Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, production, distribution center, or warehouse environment

Forklift certification or prior experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack equipment preferred

Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, material tracking, and warehouse procedures

Ability to read and follow written work instructions, pick tickets, and production documents

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety awareness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, stoop, reach, push, and pull throughout the work shift

Ability to frequently lift, carry, move, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Ability to perform repetitive movements and work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment for extended periods

Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and work around moving machinery and production equipment
