TMC Supplu Chain is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently manages the movement, storage, and tracking of inventory within a warehouse, manufacturing facility, or distribution center. They load/unload shipments, pick and pack orders, operate machinery like forklifts and scanners, and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring smooth logistics operations and compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities - Material Movement: Transporting raw materials to production areas and moving finished goods to shipping areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Shipping & Receiving: Unloading incoming containers, scanning items using RF guns, inspecting for damage, and loading completed customer orders for shipment.
- Inventory Control: Updating inventory systems (ERP), maintaining accurate stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and labeling materials.
- Packing & Order Fulfillment: Picking items from shelves, stacking products, and packing, wrapping, or securing goods for transport.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhering to safety protocols, performing daily checks on equipment (like changing forklift batteries), and maintaining a clean work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Equipment Proficiency: Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Organization and Accuracy: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory and order picking.
- Communication: Ability to work well with production and logistics teams.
- Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with on-the-job training provided.
