About the Role:

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are efficiently moved, stored, and prepared for production. This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of materials throughout the warehouse and assembly line, which directly impacts production timelines and overall operational efficiency. The Material Handler will utilize various equipment and systems to manage inventory, process orders, and facilitate shipping and receiving activities. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize errors and ensure a safe working environment. Ultimately, the success of the manufacturing operations relies heavily on the effective performance of the Material Handler. This person will work in the paint department and will be required to attend to other duties when material does not need to be moved.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations (Fork Truck - Stand Up).
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and barcoding technology.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in operating material handling equipment (Fork Truck - Stand Up).

Responsibilities:
