What is a Material Handler IV?

A Material Handler IV is a senior-level professional responsible for moving, managing, and tracking materials within a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. They typically handle more complex tasks than lower-level material handlers, such as operating heavy machinery, overseeing inventory control systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Material Handler IVs may also train junior staff and coordinate logistics to optimize efficiency. Their role is critical in ensuring that materials are properly received, stored, and distributed according to company standards.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a Material Handler IV?

These competencies ensure safe, efficient movement and tracking of materials, supporting overall supply chain effectiveness.
